Our Story

Welcome to KC Krazy Design Co.
It all began with a cancer diagnosis in 2020. I wanted a shirt to wear to chemotherapy to remind myself that my breast cancer journey was a small chapter in the book of life. Finding nothing to my liking, I designed my first shirt to wear on those long treatment days.

In the middle of treatment my husband died after an unexpected and very brief illness. My father and mother also died the same year. My life was coming unraveled and I continued to design shirts to keep my mind off the soul crushing grief.
KC Krazy was born to help me hang on to something normal. Our brand quickly evolved to showcase local designs and our love of our Midwest hometown.

A portion of each sale supports The Richard Shingleton Foundation - a program dedicated to supporting student athletes attending Title 1 schools. The RSF empowers youth by providing scholarship opportunities to summer camp, sports clinics, outdoor activities focused on mental and physical fitness, and supporting dreams of success beyond high school.
